Balls and Bows
August 7, 2012 24 Comments
I am officially all set for school to start up at the end of the month.
Woo.
No, I’m not that excited. There are general education requirements I still have to get out of the way and, because I’m part time, took the summer off, and took my own sweet time about registering, I’m a little behind and stuck with what’s left. I know it’s not like it’s a race or anything, but I do feel slightly like I goofed up.
Oops.
My darling husband is still my #1 favorite person on the planet because he hasn’t said “I told you so.” (Probably he’s thought it, but he’s a smart man and uses his mouth for other things instead.)
So, what am I taking?
- College Algebra (kill me now)
- French (easy A) and
- … {drum roll} …
- Bowling and Archery.
Or, as Jazz calls it, my balls and bows classes
If I can swing a rainbow ball and pink feathers in my arrows, I am so doing it!

Algebra is fun! Statistics is grand! Calculus? Meh.
As far as bowling and archery – is it a combined class? Do you bowl the ball and then try to shoot it? Is this some kind of Midwestern sport?
